I’m sincerely sorry to everyone that has to listen to me talk about this again, but it’s pretty seldom that I get up in arms about anything. Well, apparently the stupidity of Hollywood and Scientologists really gets under my skin. I know you’re thinking, “John, after yesterday’s 9 minute Cruise craziness, surely there isn’t anything else to say.” Well, my friends, wrong you are. I want to thank a friend of mine for getting me the entire long video. He asked me not to mention his name, so I will not. But I sincerely an thankful for the opportunity to waste an entire hour of my life just to bring the mocking, ridicule and scorn to all the dozens of fans I have.

I’m not asking you to watch every one of the clips below. Christ knows I wish I hadn’t. But, if you’re in for a good laugh and ready to weep for little Suri, hunker down with some popcorn and get ready to laugh at your computer screen. Continue reading this post…

If evolution, creationism and intelligent design are controversial and worthy of debate, that’s fine. Debate ‘em.

Debate them in philosophy class. Debate them in theology class. Even debate them in debate class. In fact, come debate them here. But they shouldn’t be debated in science class. “Being Friends, Being Safe, Being Catholic,” was distributed earlier this year to several hundred schools in the New York area as part of the church’s Safe Environment Program, a spokeswoman from the city’s Archdiocese said.

One image in the book features a guardian angel hovering over an altar boy with a priest lurking in the background. Continue reading this post…

A Childhood of Disillusionment

I think, therefore, I am not Christian.

This is an argument I had with myself not long ago forcing me to evaluate not only my belief structure, but an entire religion.

I have read story upon story of Christianity corrupting the way that people think about themselves. Ranging everywhere from women to African
Americans to homosexuals. Now, although I was once among the opiated masses, I knew that there was something fundamentally wrong with the hypocrisy of believing that one group of people was inferior to another group. It was with this thinking that upon reexamination I stumbled across several incongruities in the entire faith system. Continue reading this post…

A Quick Rundown

This site is dedicated to all the shit I like. You know, those things you read that are so irreverent, ricockulous, outlandish, eccentric and off-the-wall that your only response is to sit back in your chair and ask, "WTF?!!?" This site has nothing to do with you nor what you're interested in. If you have neither a sense of humor nor a fondness for satire, it's probably better that you hit your browser's 'back' button and find something else to read.
